Abstract

The Gemini MCAO system, GeMS, has been in integration and test in the lab for over a year. We present the main highlights of the integration and tests of the system. Issues we encountered, how we solved it. We will focus on the following points:
 Registration
 WFS subaperture (quadcell) centroid gains
 tomographic NCPA
 synthetic matrices and why we use it
 dependance over zenith angle
 flexures calibrations
 extrapolator issues
 temporal performance
